Extracted from the nuts of Calophyllum inophyllum tree - a large evergreen plant native to tropical Asia and Wallacea - Tamanu has a soft nutty and woodsy scent. It is rich and thick, and often combined with other carriers to help speed up absorption. It is known for its ability to soothe reddened and irritated skin, promote collagen to combat signs of ageing, and support healthy skin regeneration.
